Module Information Summary

To be able to undertake a self-directed photographic production from conception to outputs (website, screen art, or installation) through to a professional quality standard outcome.

To apply methods and processes necessary for the completion, presentation, and delivery of a major photographic project.

To build on Level 5 modules and expand the participant's understanding of photographic practice through a process of audience/stakeholder and project development 

To bring to realisation a professional quality portfolio of creative work

To engage independently and competently in a process of photographic production requiring a professional level of organisational and time management skills.


Knowledge and Understanding

On successful completion of this module students will be able to:

The ability to undertake the production of photographic work informed by a process of:

          Research and development of ideas
          Sustainability (budget and time management)
          Proficiency across a relevant range of digital image creation practices
          Production of a marketable quality project
          Professional presentations
          Critical self-evaluation, assessment and evaluation of individual processes of production
          Contextualising and describing project work in relation to social, cultural, historical and critical  
             features
